Earlier this year, my family announced that we are adopting from India! We are almost done with the first big milestone - the home study. A home study is the state's approval of you as adoptive parents, and it includes background checks, health clearances, psychological evaluations, home visits, employ verification, hours of education, and more. It's taken about four months for us to get everything together. During this time, we also needed to raise funds to get this process

Porch sessions are perfect for a situation like this. They didn't need tons of photos. Preschool photos are here! Each year I take pictures for Rainbow Ark Preschool. For the past three years, my boys have gone here. I’ve known the teacher forever and she actually taught two of my siblings. It’s a great school and it’s so fun to come in each autumn and take photos of the cute kids.
