Jacie: Adoption Fundraiser Photos

Earlier this year, my family announced that we are adopting from India!

We are almost done with the first big milestone - the home study. A home study is the state's approval of you as adoptive parents, and it includes background checks, health clearances, psychological evaluations, home visits, employ verification, hours of education, and more. It's taken about four months for us to get everything together.

During this time, we also needed to raise funds to get this process started. One of the ways I did that was through mini sessions. I did Mother's Day mini sessions and head shot mini sessions, and both turned out great. So fun and beautiful, and affordable for clients while also helpful for our adoption.

Take a look at some of the photos I took for these mini sessions - aren't the great? Would you come to more if I held them?

I also was blessed to connect with Woven Co. Candles in Franklin. Lindsey is the nicest person! She was so excited to support our adoption. She not only set up online ordering with proceeds coming to us, but also let me host candle-pouring events with friends to earn even more money! In return, I sent her a handful of marketing photos she can use as she likes.

To those who participated in any of the fundraisers so far, please know I'm so grateful for you! Your support of my business means a lot; your support of our growing family means everything!

Lots of love, Jacie
