Between fall sessions, marketing clients, and the constant barrage of germs coming after us, I'm so far behind on blogging. But, let's get to it.
This is my wonderful new friend Laura and her family. Laura teaches my kids on Sunday in the nursery. Her sons helped keep my lawn mowed this summer. They're all so sweet and kind, so I knew this would be a nice session.
First, do you see how much natural hugging is going on in these images? I love it! They are a touchy-feely family and you can tell that they feel safe and comfortable together. That's a sign of a good family.
Second, do you see the sweet, natural, big smiles? I love that, too! Over the years, we train ourselves to smile a certain way. We pose ourselves to look our most flattering. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but it is refreshing to see the authentic smiles of little kids.
Third, check out these loving couple shots! Romantic, right? I said, "Do you guys want some photos of just you two before we wrap up?" And he replied, "Any excuse to kiss my wife!" Excellent answer! Husbands of the world, take note!
Chisholm family, thank you for letting me capture these special moments. I know you hadn't had family photos in a while, so I hope you enjoy these.
Lots of love,
Jacie
