Guys, I went to Alaska to see one of my very best friends in the entire world, and I came to find out she lives basically on another planet. Alaska is wild and majestic and beautiful and chaotic and serene and raw - it's amazing to think that I never even left my country, because I felt a world away!
I'm dropping a few of my landscape photos just for fun. I didn't take my camera everywhere on this trip - I have enough to worry about with two kids - but I did try my hand at capturing some of this amazing landscape.
We spent our time around the Anchorage area, and just in that vicinity we could see so much. My favorite day was spent at the conservation center seeing wildlife and then hiking to the Byron Glacier (where I may have fallen in a glacial stream, but whatever).

To my bestie Christina and her husband Sean, thanks for hosting us and showing us this special place. I feel so blessed! To anyone who is considering a trip to Alaska, just do it. You'll see and learn and experience so much!
